Is this gambling?
Is this gambling?
No. There is no stake, no pot, and no pool anywhere in TheBingoFi. Joining or playing a match never puts anything at risk, and there is no shared prize that winners draw from. Winning a match earns XP, season points, and non-tradeable cosmetic items, never money. The only thing that ever costs money is voluntarily buying a Skill or Skin NFT from the platform, which is a cosmetic/ability purchase structurally identical to buying a skin in any conventional free-to-play game, not a bet on a match outcome. This is a deliberate, explicit pivot away from the team’s earlier project (Bingochain), which did have on-chain betting/staking mechanics; none of that carries over here. See Solution and Problem.
Is there a token?
Is there a token?
No. TheBingoFi has no fungible platform token, no in-game currency, and has never run, nor plans to run, an ICO, IDO, or airdrop. The only on-chain assets are Skill and Skin NFTs (ERC-1155), bought with ETH (the gas token on GIWA Sepolia). See Smart Contracts.
Do I need a wallet to play?
Do I need a wallet to play?
No. Guest play needs no wallet, no login, and no signature. You can join a room (or play VS Bot, Quick Match, the Daily Challenge, or chat in Plaza) and finish a full match without ever connecting one. A wallet is only needed for two things: buying/holding Skill or Skin NFTs, and using a purchased skill in a
standard-mode match loadout. See Gameplay and Architecture. Is it pay-to-win?
Is it pay-to-win?
No. Skill effect strength is flat across every rarity tier: a rare copy of a skill does exactly what a common copy does; rarity only changes visual identity and prestige, never power. On top of that, every player is capped at 2 skills per loadout with limited charges (typically once per match), and every proactive skill has a direct counter (Nullify). Casual mode has no skills at all and is fully competitive with zero wallet/NFT involvement; a player who never buys anything is never at a disadvantage there. See Skill System.
Which chain?
Which chain?
GIWA Sepolia, chain ID
91342: a testnet for GIWA, an OP Stack Ethereum L2 (from Dunamu/Upbit, an Optimism Foundation partner) with a 1-second block time. All 4 contracts are deployed and verified there today (see Smart Contracts). GIWA mainnet does not exist yet; it’s still in development, so Sepolia is the only target for now.
